OUR PHILOSOPHY The three fundamental attributes of any good musician: 1. Theory - We will teach you the major and minor scales and modes in their various forms. This, combined with the circle of fifths and how to switch key signatures, will give you a thorough knowledge of the fret board. 2. Sight Reading - We will teach you how to read music in standard notation as well as in tablature form. Musical pieces will get progressively more difficult as your skill level increases. As we explore various styles of guitar, music pieces of interest to the student will be added in order to maintain a high level of interest. 3. Time - We will teach you how to play in proper time with effective use of the metronome. This includes the use of scales as well as chord progressions with various picking and strumming styles.
